Modelling of a Composite Quasi-Isotropic Laminated PCM (Phase Change Material) System

Abstract

A composite quasi-isotropic laminated PCM system based on two geometric configurations have been theoretically evaluated. The results show significant increases in the rate of heat transfer in the triangular formation over the square type. Experimental validation is however needed for further development.
