Adsorption of SO2 over Alkali Metal Ion-exchanged ZSM-5 zeolites.

Abstract

種々のアルカリ金属イオンでイオン交換したZSM--5にSO2を吸着させ,吸着量測定,および種々の分光学的測定(IR,XPS,XRF)と吸着相互作用ポテソシャルの理論計算を行い,吸着状態の解明を行った.理論計算結果は物理吸着したSO2に二つの安定な吸着構造が存在することを示唆し,IR測定によってその存在が確認された.分光学的手法で求められた不可逆吸着量は,吸着量測定において観測された値よりもかなり小さく,微量の強く吸着したSO2,または含硫黄吸着種がゼオライトの内部や細孔の入口に閉塞空間を生じ吸着を阻害しているものと考えられた.
