Abstract

The present work discusses the body and its relation to Philosophy, culture and health, considering the construction of a new bodily reality in today’s society and its implication in the construction of new bodily processes that alter the relation of a person’s organs and emotions. It shows the need of a new epistemology on the body and its historical, health and illness processes in relation to education.
