Abstract

Introduction: The term "nesidioblastosis" describes clusters of beta cells that appear to bud from the pancreatic ductal epithelium and give rise to postabsorptive hypoglycemia. Nesidioblastosis is extremely rare in adults (appr. 40 cases in the world literature).
