Ultrafast switching of intersubband saturable absorber in II-VI-based quantum well waveguides

Abstract

Ultrafast all-optical switch using intersubband absorption saturation in II-VI-based quantum well was developed. Sub-ps optical modulation is achieved at 1.55μm wavelength using a high-mesa waveguide structure. (2 pages)
