Several properties of the sys~e m HClOr H 20 for concentrations of H CIO, varying from 0 to 70 percent by weight have been m easured from -60 0 to -t-75°C .These properties include density, viscosity, electrical resistivity, and freezing temperat ures of 'the solutions. An empirical relat ion between electrical resistivity, kin ematic viscosity, and temperature has been found to be of the same fo rm a s the r elat ion which Vinal and Craig found for sulfuricacid solution s.The proper t ies of perchloric-acid solut ions of interest for battery work have been discllssed. Some m easurem en ts of electri cal resistivity of solutions containin g the lead sal t form ed as a perchloric-acid battery d ischarges have bee n m ea sured.1.
