Mesophilic Anaerobic Digestion of Concentrated Waste Activated Sludge

Abstract

濃縮余剰活性汚泥 (TS濃度5%) の中温嫌気性消化特性を把握することを目的とし, HRT5, 10, 15, および30日の完全混合型反応槽を用いた室内半連続実験を行った.HRT30日条件におけるVS, タンパク質, 炭水化物, 脂質の分解率はそれぞれ43%, 42%, 37%および52%であった.ガス生成倍率は16l/l-投入, ガス回収率は460ml/g-VSであった.HRT30日での消化性能と比較して, HRT10日の条件では80%に低下し, HRT5日では50%に低下した.HRT10日以上の条件ではメタン含有率は64%程度であった.余剰活性汚泥の嫌気性消化において, 加水分解段階は律速段階であり, 加水分解速度は一次反応式で表現できるが, 余剰汚泥中の生物難分解性物質が50%程度含まれることが分かった.
