Automated vehicles can do everything!

Abstract

This paper is dedicated to the creative activities of the outstanding designer of space technologies G.N. Babakin, who worked at the Lavochkin Association. Under Babakin’s leadership, domestic automatic spacecraft were developed for research of near–Earth space, the Moon, planets of the Solar System, and for astrophysical observations. The short–term prospects of the national space program are presented.
