Superconductivity in Y(Ba_1-xMn_x)₂Cu₃O_7-δand Y(Ba_1-xCu_x)₂Cu₃O_7-δceramics

Abstract

High-Tc superconductors Y-(Ba-Mn)-Cu-O and Y-(Ba-Cu)-Cu-O were prepared and studied by X-ray diffraction, electrical resistivity and EPR methods. Partial substitution of barium by maganese and copper ions does not disturb the transition from normal to superconducting states. The absence of an EPR signal from divalent magnetic substitution ions was observed.
