Room temperature sensing performance of graphene-like SnS2 towards ammonia

Abstract

In the present work, SnS 2 single layer was first synthesized by Li-intercalation method and well characterized. TEM results showed the graphene-like structure of the as-obtained SnS 2 , and XRD results showed well c-oriented thin film. For room temperature sensing of NH 3 , the ultrathin SnS 2 exhibited rapid response and high sensitivity at room temperature. The potential gas sensing mechanism is also discussed.
