Design of car Bluetooth hands-free mobile phone system in Linux system

Abstract

A car Bluetooth hands-free phone system is designed in Linux operating system. ARM S3C2440A microprocessor is used in vehicle terminal for controlling and managing the system. Bluetooth hands-free application according to Bluetooth Hands-free Profile (HFP), is realized by using API of Bluez protocol stack. In the paper, it analyses HCI, SDP and RFCOMM protocols which are included in HFP and designs the software architecture. The system can successfully control Bluetooth mobile phone, and has high reliability and operating convenience.
