Petriellidosis (pseudallescheriasis) in southwestern Ontario, Canada

Abstract

Seven cases of petriellidosis (pseudallescheriasis) in southwestern Ontario residents and one in a Saskatchewan patient are recorded. Brief clinical histories are given of two of these cases. The first isolation of Petriellidium boydii from soil in Ontario is also described.
