BCD: BigData, cloud computing and distributed computing

Abstract

The data about data, data in the data and data around data is Big Data. It is a area which is gaining immense importance as more and more organization are running 24×7×365 and their real time commercial transactions/data needs to handled, stored, archived and retrieved very carefully. In the current work we give the overview of Big data and its related components like cloud computing, distributed computing, Data Mining etc. The research paper introduces 3'V limitation of relational databases system which are at the roots of origin of Big Data. We discuss Big Data application(s), Big Data datasets and Big Data Tools. The research paper demonstrates the working of Big data tool : MongoDB, a NoSQL Database.
