The magnetic susceptibility χ and the electrical resistivity ρ of Cr 1- x Fe x Ge (0≤ x ≤0.9) are measured in the temperature ranges of 4.2–420 K and 4.2–300 K, respectively. The magnetic susceptibility shows the Curie-Weiss-like behavior in a composition region close to a critical composition for the onset of ferromagnetism ( x =0.75). At high temperatures, the electrical resistivity shows a temperature dependence which is convex to temperature axis and finally tends to saturation for all the samples investigated. For small x , tire electrical resistivity is proportional to T 2 at low temperatures. These behaviors of χ and ρ for x >0 are explained on the basis of the spin fluctuation theory for weakly and nearly ferromagnetic metals. We conclude that the degree of the electron correlation increases systematically with increasing x .
