Outage probability of dual‐hop decode‐and‐forward relaying systems over generalized fading channels

Abstract

Abstract This paper studies a dual‐hop decode‐and‐forward (DF) relaying system over generalized fading channels which can be modeled by the η‐µ distribution and κ‐µ distribution. Analytical expressions of the outage probability are derived under such two distributions, respectively. Some numerical results are presented and prove that the obtained analytical expressions can be used for evaluating the outage performance of the dual‐hop DF relaying systems.
