Shorted bowtie patch fed by L-probes

Abstract

In this paper, a shorted bowtie patch fed by twin L-probes is proposed. With employing the L-shaped probe feeding technique, the antenna can exhibit a wide impedance bandwidth with a directional radiation from the patch. Simulation results have been done to verify this new design.
