Abstract

Abstract An electrode for the differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetric determination of trace bismuth in mineral has been made by coating glassy carbon with Nafion. The sensitivity is enhanced by the ion‐exchange character of the Nafion film. A detection limit of 1 × 10 −11 M has been obtained after electrodeposition for 16 min. The overlapping interference of Sb is addressed successfully. The method is sensitive, simple, and relatively rapid, with good reproducibility.
