Green emitting DFB laser diodes based on ZnSe

Abstract

Applying the concept of lateral coupling, green emitting DFB laser diodes based on ZnSe have been fabricated and analysed at room temperature under pulsed current injection. The devices are characterised by longitudinal singlemode emission with a typical threshold current of ~25 mA.
