Robust stability analysis of Takagi-Sugeno discrete-times fuzzy control systems

Abstract

In this paper, a robust stability analysis method for the well-known discrete Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model is presented. Based on the fuzzy controller, which is designed by a fuzzy system with no uncertainty, some new robust stability conditions giving a stability-guaranteed parametric uncertainty range are given for the fuzzy controller and fuzzy system with uncertainty. Some estimations for the range of uncertainty is given for a SISO fuzzy system wherein the stability of the total system is guaranteed. The effectiveness of the proposed analysis method is illustrated by a simple example.
