Because both gears shafts of a bevel gear cross unlike a cylindrical gear and one of them is largely cantilever, bevel gears are easily influenced by the deflection of gear shafts and bearings. Those have great influence on the transmission error which is related to the vibration and noise. Therefore, in considering the deflection of the gear shafts and bearings, obtaining the transmission error of bevel gears is very important for the design. In this report, the transmission error were calculated, when gear shafts were supported by two bearings. These calculated values were compared with the transmission error which was calculated without the deflection of the gear shafts and bearings.
