A closed-loop STTD scheme using limited feedback unitary precoding for MIMO-OFDM-OSTBC system

Abstract

In this paper, we present a closed-loop STTD scheme using limited feedback unitary precoding for MIMO-OFDM-OSTBC systems, which supports different numbers of transmit antennas. The simulation results show that adopting the STTD scheme in MIMO-OFDM-OSTBC system can obtain higher diversity advantage. Compared with other STTD schemes, the proposed scheme is more flexible in practical application, allows a tradeoff between feedback rate and system performance, and has good upgrading ability of supporting the systems with different numbers of transmit antennas.
