Smart beamforming and wideband signals for ground surveillance

Abstract

In this paper, dealing with long range ground surveillance radars, it is shown that the simultaneous requirement for wideband waveforms and multiple channels opens the way to new space-time signals and processing techniques, thus improving the detection and classification of multiple ground (and low flying) targets.
