Formation of Electrically Controlled Waveguide Channel in Thin Liquid Crystal Layer

Abstract

Formation of a waveguide channel induced by electric field of a special configuration applied to the initially homogeneous liquid crystal layer is investigated. Characteristics of the channel were studied by processing of digital images of the channel.
