Miniaturized Metamaterial Filters Using Ring Resonators

Abstract

In this paper extremely compact metamaterial closed loop resonators are demonstrated and implemented in a 3 pole Chebyshev filter and a 4 pole quasi elliptic filter at 800 MHz for mobile communications. Simulated and experimental results are shown.
