Na3PSe4: A Novel Chalcogenide Solid Electrolyte with High Ionic Conductivity

Abstract

A new Na3PSe4 compound is synthesized and exhibits a large cell parameter of 7.3094 Å, thereby providing 3D channels that are optimal for Na ion diffusion. Na3PSe4 has the highest ionic conductivity reported for chalcogenides so far, with a value of over 1 mS cm−1 at room temperature and a low activation energy of 0.21 eV.
