Spherical SnO 2 powders were prepared from SnCl 4 aqueous solution by ultrasonic spray pyrlysis. The particle size distributions normalized by mean diameters are almost identical in spite of the variation in the concentration of the source solution. The mean diameter of SnO 2 particles increases with the concentration of the source solution and it is in the range of 0.2 to 0.8 μm. Each spherical particle is composed of many primary particles and has a solid, microporous structure.
