Fuzzy control for networked control systems based on average time-delay

Abstract

This paper deals with networked control systems with random long time-delay problem. According to the actual time-delay, we design a discrete model of networked control systems and propose a fuzzy controller based on parallel distributing compensation theory. The method to design membership function is also presented. Lyapunov theory and Linear Matrix Inequality are used to derive the sufficient conditions that guarantee the stability of networked control systems. A simulation example illustrating the proposed method is given.
