Fair multiuser radio resource allocation for OFDMA distributed wireless communication systems

Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the problem of radio resource allocation with fairness constraints in distributed wireless communication systems (DWCS), based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing access (OFDMA) technology. Two kinds of scenario are considered including the optional antenna system (OAS) and the fix-area antenna system (FAS). The graph theoretical approaches are proposed for them, in which, optimal solution can be achieved by transforming the resource allocation problems into generated graphs. The suboptimal heuristic algorithms are given as purpose of comparison and simulation results demonstrate the better performance of our algorithms.
