Binary Encoding and Nanotagging Using Plasmonic Core-Shell Nanoparticles

Abstract

We present a frequency-domain binary encoding/tagging using a set of core-shell nanoparticles. The frequency content of signals from this set contains peaks corresponding to plasmonic resonances of particles and can be interpreted as binary digits.
