Abstract

Summary form only given. During the past years it has been demonstrated that femtosecond lasers are excellent tools for microstructuring of nearly all kinds of solid materials. In this paper investigations of possibilities to go further and to produce sub-wavelength, nanometer-sized structures with femtosecond pulses are reported.
