ON EXTREMAL QUASIMODULAR FORMS

Abstract

We define and study 'extremal' quasimodular forms. Some explicit descriptions of such forms are given. Connections with certain differential equations and Atkin's orthogonal polynomials, and the positivity of the Fourier coefficients, are also discussed.
