Nanogenerators: Highly Stretchable Piezoelectric‐Pyroelectric Hybrid Nanogenerator (Adv. Mater. 5/2014)

Abstract

A novel highly stretchable piezoelectric-pyroelectric hybrid nanogenerator based on a micro-patterned piezoelectric polymer thin film, PDMS-CNT composite, and graphene is fabricated. Simultaneously mechanical and thermal energies are harvested from a single cell of the device. S.-W. Kim and co-workers show on page 765 that even after 30% stretching, a high robustness behavior and stable piezoelectric and pyroelectric power outputs are obtained due to a micro-pattern designing of the hybrid nanogenerator.
