Abstract

Current intrusion detection technology is limited in providing protection against the intrusions that may violate the security of computational grids. We present the problem of grid intrusions, analyze the requirements of a system to detect them, propose a system architecture, and show how it overcomes the limitations by integrating the detection of the typical host computer and network attacks with the detection of grid-specific attacks and user behavior anomalies
