Electrical transport properties of Ag-doped p-type PbTe epitaxial thin films

Abstract

Hall coefficient and dc conductivity measurements are made on p-type PbTe films doped with silver. The analysis of Hall coefficient RH and mobility μH(RHσ) data shows that at higher concentrations of silver (> 0.5 at%), silver provides neutral impurity centres. Es werden Messungen des Hall-Koeffizienten und der Gleichstromleitfähigkeit an p-leitenden silberdotierten PbTe-Schichten durchgeführt. Die Analyse des Hallkoeffizienten RH und der Be- weglichkeit μH (RHσ) zeigt, daß bei höheren Silberkonzentrationen (> 0,5 At%) Silber neutrale Störstellen liefert.
