Electron-induced fission decay from (Jpi,K)=(2+,0) states in208Pb

Abstract

The electrofission angular distribution of 208Pb was measured at 35 MeV. The strong observed 45 degrees -peaked anisotropy would indicate that (2+,0) states dominate the fission-channel spectrum at the top of the fission barrier.
