Low-Loss Plasmonic Slow Light Waveguide

Abstract

We propose a novel SP-based guiding mechanism to address the following issues simultaneously: confining the light in subwavelength-size regions, showing broadband slow group velocity and lowering the intrinsic loss of the metallic structure.
