TRICHOSTEMA RUYGTII (LAMIACEAE): A NEW SPECIES FROM NAPA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

Abstract

ABSTRACT Trichostema ruygtii is described from Napa County, California. It is closely related to T. lanceolatum Bentham but differs from that species most conspicuously in having much smaller flowers with notably shorter stamens. Both species occur in Napa County but occupy somewhat different habitats and have not been found growing together.
