Abstract

Abstract Colloidal dispersions of hybrid nanocomposite composed of gold nanoparticles (Au-NPs) and polypyrrole (PPy) were prepared by a sonochemical method, in which gold ion and pyrrole monomer in an aqueous solution were reduced and oxidized, respectively, by ultrasonic irradiation in the presence of poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone) (PVP).
