Lithium‐ion Batteries: 3D Hierarchical Porous α‐Fe2O3 Nanosheets for High‐Performance Lithium‐Ion Batteries (Adv. Energy Mater. 4/2015)

Abstract

Lithium-ion batteries with high capacity, long lifespan, and fast charge–discharge rates are of great technological importance currently. In article number 1401421, Lifang Jiao, Zaiping Guo, and co-workers report a simple method to develop high-performance electrodes. The 3D hierarchical porous α-Fe2O3 nanosheet electrodes have ultrahigh capacity, excellent rate capability, and super-long cycle life, which make them attractive for high-power lithium-ion batteries.
