Commensurate Stripline Bandpass Filters with Equalized Group Delay Characteristics

Abstract

A new structure for realization of commensurate TEM bandpass filters having equalized group delay in the passband has been developed and successfully tested. Two layers carrying the same short-shunt-stub structure are coupled over a dielectric interface. For the symmetrical case, the synthesis is described and the results obtained with trial filters are discussed.
