Solving the eltrut problem with hybrid evolutionary algorithms

Abstract

The Eltrut problem is an optimization problem concerning the educational robot known as the LOGO turtle. In this study, I describe my formulation of the Eltrut problem and my attempts to solve it using evolutionary computing techniques. Motivation is given for the use of hybrid evolutionary algorithms. Preliminary results are presented.
