Micromodular radiometer for temperature monitoring during microwave hyperthermia treatment

Abstract

A micromodular radiometric thermometer is described for thermal monitoring during intracavitary microwave hyperthermia treatment with ALMHP-01 Radmir apparatus. The design of the inexpensive radiometer is based on front-end RFICs. This design allows for the capabilities of microwave hyperthermia equipment to be expanded and for radiometers to be used in monitoring internal body temperatures during treatment.
