Abstract

U.v irradiation of {(η5C5Me5)Re(CO)3] in benzene yields the stable complex [{(η-5C5Me5)Re(CO)2}2(µ-η2,η2′-C6H6)]; X-ray diffraction reveals a pronounced double-bond localization in the double co-ordinated benzene ligand.
