Grouped device-to-device communication underlaying cellular networks

Abstract

In this paper, we analyze a resource allocation method for device-to-device (D2D) communication underlaying cellular networks. A novel algorithm is proposed to form a number of D2D groups such that a group of D2D pairs can reuse the downlink resource of one cellular user (CU) while guaranting the SINR at both D2D receivers and CUs.
