Advanced Performances In Gas Sensors: Stretchable, Flexible, Wireless, Wearable

Abstract

In this paper we present the current status of the research of the project Infinitex concerning the integration of sensors in the next generation of functional textiles [1]. In our work we present a really wearable sensor system that shows how gas sensors can be used beyond the traditional, rigid and static scenarios by adding flexibility, stretchability and wireless autonomous communications among their features. Future applications and limitations are discussed.
