Abstract

Abstract The crystal growth kinetics was studied in the system of calcium nitrate – water at concentrations 14.3, 11.1, and 9.1 mole% of Ca(NO 3 ) 2 within the supercooling region Δ T = 0–65 K. The mechanism of the growth was suggested and the concentration dependence of the crystal growth rate was discussed.
