Ken Burley

Year: 1995 Journal:   In Practice Vol: 17 (10)Pages: 491-492   Publisher: Wiley

Abstract

‘If in doubt, freeze it’ was a maxim of the 1980s. It reflected a belief in the almost magical properties of cryosurgery and hence its extensive use and misuse. In this article, the fifth of the ‘toy or tool’ series, Ken Burley assesses the pros and cons of the procedure.
