Research and design on the DC servo motor position control system was developed based on the virtual instrument technology. The research focuses on the system configuration, PID controller, data acquisition and the real-time control procedures. An experimental rig has been built, and the test has been carried out. The experiment results show that the system in this paper has more advantages than traditional ones. It is convenient for the setting and adjustment of the system parameters. The operation process is showed visually and real-timely, and also a real-time monitor and control is carried out to the system outlet. The system owns friendly interface, high precision and reliability. This method would be beneficial to configure any rig test and control system.
