Stable Blue‐ and Green‐Emitting Zinc Oxide from Ionic Liquid Crystal Precursors

Abstract

Stable fluorescence: Ultra small and stable nano-zinc oxides are formed from imidazolium ionic liquid crystal precursors. This new luminescent system achieves stable blue and green fluorescence at room temperature by using different alkyl precursors (see figure).
