Ubiquitous service network with automatic service provision

Abstract

To study the service automatic provision in ubiquitous network, a general structure of ubiquitous service network is proposed which consists of sense extension layer, core network layer, application layer, and service control platform. Then, the network functional model is presented, where there are many kinds of capability sets, QoS parameters in each layer, basic and advanced capability sets, the service control platform which interacts with other functional entities through the protocol mechanisms. The service is automatically provided by terminals coordination or networks coordination under some policies. Thirdly, it illustrates the service processing by the service of smart garden and medical care. Fourthly, it analyzes the system performance and the results show that the model is able to achieve the service automatic provision under specific QoS requirements. Finally, the main problems in service provision model are discussed.
